Alpha Venture Capital is led by Abe Varughese, a graduate of NYU Stern, who oversees the firm's investment strategy and portfolio decisions.
His background spans business operations, healthcare, and investing. He is President and Co-Founder of several companies and serves on the boards of various private and nonprofit organizations.
Abe has experience working with Northwell Health, the largest private employer in New York, on high-level initiatives across both inpatient and outpatient settings. His work involved close collaboration with senior executives on complex operational and strategic projects.
In addition, Abe leads other private investment companies with activity across public equities and real estate investment and development, primarily in Texas and Florida. Across asset classes, he maintains a patient long-term investment philosophy.
